This Privacy Policy is intended to describe the management of this website with reference to the use of cookies and the processing of the personal data of its users/visitors.
The Policy is addressed, in accordance with Articles 13 and 122 of the Code for the Protection of Personal Data (Legislative Decree No. 196/03, a.k.a. the ‘Privacy Code’) and the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor of 8th May 2014 concerning cookies, to all those that connect to the website www.cinetto.it
The Policy applies only to the website mentioned above (subsequently “the Site”), each of its sub-domains and, additionally, other websites accessed through links on the Site.
The Site is owned and operated by Cinetto F.lli S.r.l.
Cinetto F.lli S.r.l. guarantees compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data.
We encourage users/visitors to carefully read this Privacy Policy before communicating any personal information and/or filling in any electronic forms posted on the Site.

Types of personal data and purpose of treatment

1. Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used for running this site acquire, during normal operation, some personal data, which is transmitted implicitly through Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected for association to specific individuals, but, by its nature, could, via processing with data held by other third parties, be used to identify users/visitors (e.g. by IP address, domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, code indicating the status of response from the server, type of browser, etc.).
The data acquired is used only for anonymous statistical information and to check the correct functioning of the Site. However, the data on web contacts will not be kept for more than six months, except if required to establish liability in the circumstance that computer crimes are committed against the website.
No data deriving from the web service will be communicated or disseminated.

2. Cookies

2.1 General information about cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites visited by users send to their terminals (usually browsers), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on each subsequent visit by the same terminal. In addition, each site may allow transmission of the cookies of “third parties”, i.e. those generated from websites other than the one that the user is visiting (via objects present in it such as banners, images, maps, sounds and specific links to web pages in other domains).
Depending on their duration, cookies are sub-divided into session cookies (i.e. temporary ones automatically deleted from the terminal at the end of browsing session on closing the browser) and persistent cookies (i.e. those that are stored on the terminal until their expiry or cancellation by the user).
Cookies have different purposes. However, they are primarily used for the transmission of a communication or to provide the service requested by the user. More precisely, they enable and optimize operation of the website, perform computer authentication tasks and prevent abuses, monitor sessions and improve the browsing experience of users, for example, by maintaining an active connection to restricted areas without the need to re-enter User ID and password while browsing through the pages of the site and by storing specific information about the users themselves (including preferences, the type of browser and computer used).
These cookies are called “technical cookies”, and permission is not required for their use because without them some of the above-mentioned transactions may not be completed or would be more complex and/or less secure.
On the other hand, if the cookies are used for other purposes, typically for behaviour analysis and the transmitting of personalized promotional and advertising content (in the case of so-called “profiling” cookies) or just to obtain, by means of services rendered by third parties, aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site (in the case of so-called “analytics” cookies), consent of the user is required. Indeed, before transmitting these cookies to the terminal, in accordance with current regulations (the Privacy Code and General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor of 8th May 2014), when users access the home page or other page of a site, they are immediately shown in the foreground of the site a banner with concise information on the use of cookies and the acquisition of consent, which users give by continuing to browse via the selection of an element below the banner or by closing the banner itself.
In any case, the cookies can only be read or modified by the website that created them, are not used to retrieve any other data from the user's terminal and do not transmit viruses. Some of the functions of cookies can also be provided by other technologies and therefore, in the context of this web privacy policy, the term "cookie" refers to cookies and all similar technologies.

2.2 Use of cookies on the Site

The Site may use session cookies and persistent cookies.
The types of cookies directly generated by the site are "technical" cookies, used for: a) authentication and management of a browsing session (e.g. to identify and validate the user for logging in to the Reserved Area); b) security purposes (e.g. to count the number of login failures in order to identify possible authentication abuses and prevent fraud); c) customization of the user interface (e.g. to record the preferences expressed by the user such as language, currency, page display format, connection area); d) better fruition of the site and its audio-visual content (e.g. by running programs such as Flash Player); e) correct functioning of the connection (e.g. appropriately addressing user requests across multiple servers).

2.3 “Third-party” cookies

The site also allows transmission to the user terminal of cookies from third-parties, with whom Cinetto F.lli S.r.l. collaborates. Cinetto F.lli S.r.l., as a technical intermediary, limits itself to transmitting these cookies, but does not manage their operation. Therefore Cinetto F.lli S.r.l. has control or access to the information supplied or acquired within these cookies). Consequently, the operation of these cookies is the sole responsibility of the third parties that created them. Concerning these cookies, access to third-party declarations and consent acquisition forms can be made by clicking on the links below.
The third parties are: those providing services to Cinetto F.lli S.r.l for gathering aggregate information/statistics on users who visit the site. Precisely, these services are Google Analytics provided by the company Google (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

2.4 Management of choices regarding cookies

Cookies can be managed by users via their own web browsers.
Each user can manage his or her cookie preferences through the functionality offered by common browsers (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), which allow the user  to delete/remove cookies (all or certain cookies) or to change the browser settings to block the transmission of cookies or limit transmission to certain specific sites. Information on how to configure the settings of browsers (normally accessible from each browser’s toolbar) can be obtained from the “help” pages of the browser suppliers, which can found via a common search engine.
Disabling cookies does not in itself preclude the use of the services of the Site. If, however, all cookies, including technical cookies, are deleted or blocked, it may not be possible to carry out some operations or these operations may be more complex and/or less secure in nature, for example, in performing activities within Reserved Areas of the Site, since cookies allow identification of the user for the duration of the session.

3. Data provided spontaneously by users/visitors

If users/visitors, connecting to the Site, send their personal data to access particular services or to make requests via email, this may involve the acquisition by Cinetto F.lli S.r.l. of their email addresses and/or any other personal data that may be used exclusively to fulfil the request or to provide the service.
The personal data provided by users/ visitors will be communicated to third parties only if disclosure is necessary to comply with the requests from the users/visitors themselves.

Data processing

The processing of data is performed via computer and telematic systems and/or manually (e.g. on paper) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected and in accordance with current regulations.

Freedom in providing data

Independently from that indicated for browsing data, users/visitors to the Site are free to provide or withhold their personal data. However, failure to provide data may lead to the inability to fulfill requests.
